根據臺北市選舉委員會在今年九月所公布的臺北市第5屆市長、第11屆議員暨第11屆里長選舉各區投開票所一覽表，花了一點時間將雜亂的.doc資料，整理為格式化的.csv檔案，組合成一個使用簡便的列表與查詢系統，以及催票活動。

在一場名為 Money in Politics 2009: New Horizons for Reform 的研討會，Michael Malbin 發表了一份關於歐巴馬募款的研究報告，
SMALL DONORS, LARGE DONORS AND THE INTERNET:The Case for Public Financing after Obama。有一個有趣的問題是，要仰賴小額募款，需要能見度（捐款人數），但是在選舉初期，這個能見度可能就需要靠少數人的大額捐款來打開市場。所以，這是先有雞、還是先有蛋的問題嗎？

Dr. Michael R. Nelson 講了一則關於 2004 年 Howard Dean 未能通過黨內初選的陰謀論。電視媒體為了不想讓藉由網路競選活動而聲勢浩大的 Howard Dean 當選，故意拿著指向性麥克風對準他，放大他的講話音量，讓他聽起來像個總是用喊的在講話、打字都用大寫的瘋子。

汪萬里老師在 2004 年發表的《網際網路為美國總統選舉帶來新紀元—狄恩選戰的啟示》（93年8月玄奘資訊傳播學報第一期），就寫到：

狄恩在愛阿華首役失利，面對沮喪的支持者，他為了要鼓舞士氣，突然大喊大叫表示要繼續奮鬥，直到奪回白宮為止。他這驚天動地的一叫，經過全國電視一再重播，形象完全破壞。
